The Dirty Dixies and Chasin’ Trivia have jumped out to an early lead in the chase for the monthly Black Swan Trivia Cup Championship. But don’t discount Beer Battered, Squelch or Wayne’s World Part Deux. And newcomer to trivia 3 Shrimps & a Blonde shows promise of shaking things up.

The Dirty Dixies won both rounds of beer during Wednesday’s contest.

  • Despite it’s foreign sounding name, Häagen-Dazs was actually founded in the Bronx.

  • Colin Powell was appointed as National Security Advisor by President Ronald Reagan.
